[part 2] Lantau Trail lost garden Lung Tsai Ng Yuen / 龍仔悟園

Being in Hong Kong on a sunny day, I decided to go hiking on the Lantau Trail again and explore that nice abandoned garden that I saw last year but could not really visit alone. If you are interested in the history of this place, you can read about the basic facts in my former report here. It was the wrong decision not to go in there then, because it was completely left in decay and now, it is guarded by at least two big dogs.

They kept barking at me and so I could not go inside the place like I planned. However, you can still see my last photos of its architecture from outside.

As you can see on the photos below, the entrance was still not maintained, as well as the statues next to it.

But the Chinese bridge which was completely broken last year got repaired. But the pond still had a very diverse ecosystem with huge fish inside.

The back entrance of the parc was also in a pretty bad state and subject to floods…
